Jeffrey Howard '96 was married to Anne Louise Henry in La Jolla, Calif. on April 4, 2002. Fellow Epsilon Omega brothers Chris Kearny, his wife Carrie, and Ed Menon were in attendance. Howard works as the IT systems administrator for Senior Resource Group, a developer/operator of senior living communities, based in San Diego, Calif. Howard and his wife now live in La Jolla, Calif. "I wish the best to the alumni and members of Epsilon Omega Chapter and the Kappa Alpha Order organization," says Howard.

A.M. "Gus" Parker '46 is the new national president of the Exchange Club. In Macon, Ga., he was sworn in as his trademark "thumbs-up signal" was incorporated as the national logo for his administration. His son Tim (Delta Theta '74) and grandson Tim, Jr. (Nu '02) are also KAs.

Steve Brophy '89, a Franklin, Tenn. native, was appointed by U.S. Rep. Marsha Blackburn to serve as her chief of staff. Brophy, a legislative assistant to Sen. Bill Frist who earlier was on the staff of Sen. Fred Thompson, will work in the new congresswoman's Washington office.
A. Frank Glass '70 retired on Jan. 2, 2003, as Motlow College's president but will continue to play a role in the college as president emeritus - an honor bestowed upon him by the Tennessee Board of Regents. President emeritus status is the TBR's highest honor for retiring presidents and is given for long-standing service and outstanding leadership to presidents who have served for at least 10 years and are at least 60 years old. As president emeritus, Glass will assist with fund-raising, public relations activities, and other activities.
John R. Milam '72, the senior vice president of Willis in Knoxville, Tenn. was the speaker on the main platform at the 75th Annual Meeting of the Million Dollar Round Table on June 24, 2002. Out of several hundred people considered each year for the platform talk, Milam was chosen to share his secrets for success in life.

Bill Engval '76, the star of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour is starring in a movie with the same title with buddy Jeff Foxworthy. In addition to the movie and tour, he has also released his fifth CD.

Hans J. Liljeberg '86 was elected as a Louisiana State District Judge on Oct. 5, 2002, for the 24th Judicial District Court for Jefferson Parish, La. He is the second youngest judge ever to be elected to that position. He and his wife, Stacey, have five daughters: Gretchen, Krista, Jensen, Hanna and Kelsey. They are expecting their sixth daughter on Jan 21, 2003.
LT Andrew C. Schmidt '92 has just completed a three year tour of duty with the "Fighting Blacklions" of VF-213. He amassed 900 Tomcat hours, over 200 carrier landings and flew 44 combat strike missions during Operation Enduring Freedom. "I was proud to serve my country and represent Kappa Alpha Order during such trying times," says Schmidt. He is now assigned to VT-7 in Meridian, Miss. where he will close out his Navy obligation as a Flight Instructor. He and his wife Karen are expecting a child this spring.

Brian Burgoon '91 was recently re-elected to the Board of Governors of the Florida Bar for a two-year term. In 2000, at the age of 28, Brian became the youngest person elected to the Board, when he was elected to a seat
representing the out-of-state lawyers. Brian currently practices commercial and civil
litigation with Sutherland Asbill & Brennan in Atlanta.

Morgan Wooten '54, a legendary basketball coach at DeMatha High in Hyattsville, Md., is retiring at age 71. His 46-year career produced 12 NBA players and more wins than any other high school coach with a record of 1,274-192 since 1956. Two years ago, Wooten was the third high school coach inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame.

Thomas J. Hagale '76 was recently selected as an Associate Technical Fellow of the Boeing Company for his expertise as a Human Factors Design Specialist. He is the EVA Design and Analysis team lead for International Space Station (ISS) unpressurized carriers and is responsible for the EVA analysis for all Huntsville ISS carrier missions.

Robert G. Chandler '58, who served as the president of the Versatron Corporation in Healdsburg, Calif., retired two years ago and has settled down with his wife of 42 years into Silver Lakes, a resort/retirement community on a golf course in the high desert of Southern California. "I play a lot of golf and spend quite a bit of time on my cruising sailboat docked at Dana Point, Calif. We are enjoying retirement very much," says Chandler.

The award will help him finish his Master of Science degree in personal financial planning from the College for Financial Planning. John McClellan Marshall '65, a member of the Mikell Court of Honor and Senior Judge of the Fourteenth Judicial District of Texas, was recently appointed to return to active service as Judge of the Sabine Valley Child Protection Court. This court specializes in cases that deal with child abuse and neglect. The area served by Judge Marshall is approximately the size of the state of Connecticut and extends from Dallas eastward to the Louisiana border.

William Raymond Wickman '98 and his wife Coleen recently welcomed their first child, Andrew William, born October 3, 2002. He and his family moved to Bellingham, Wa., where he works as a Special Agent with the U.S. Customs Service.
