Bid for Brotherhood (B4B) started in 1998 in Kansas City, Mo., as the brainchild of then Knight Commander, Jim Estes, as a way to combine an alumni event with a meaningful fund raising vehicle. The goal of the endowment fund created is to one day completely fund events such as the National Leadership Institute, the Number I’s Leadership Institute, The Crusade RoundTable and/or other educational events making them available to undergraduate Kappa Alphas at no cost.
