With new residents, the house corporation and/or chapter should be billing for security deposits and conducting room check-in procedures with the resident, house manager and house director. Room check-in/check-out procedures are something that few chapters and house corporations are in the habit of conducting, yet they are one of the most simple and essential elements of effective property management.
