The Kappa Alpha Journal is distributed to dues paying undergraduate members. This subscription is included as a part of the annual dues. Members of The Loyal Order program receive a lifetime subscription to the Journal.
The Journal is also distributed free to those who meet one of the following criteria:
- A member initiated prior to June 30, 2004, will receive the Journal free for up to ten years after his initiation date, as long as he keeps his mailing address current with the National Administrative Office.

Members initiated between 1936 and 1951 (during these years, the Journal was guaranteed for life).

Alumnus Advisors, Housing Corporation Presidents, Greek Advisors and all known members of alumni advisory committees.

Members of the Advisory Council.

Member organizations in FEA, CFEA and other similar associations.
If an alumnus or friend of Kappa Alpha Order does not fit any of the above categories, he/she may, at any time, subscribe to the Kappa Alpha Journal at an annual subscription rate.
