We are looking for qualified candidates who are members of Kappa Alpha Order

and have earned a Bachelor's or advanced degree. Candidates must be self-motivated,

detail and goal oriented, open to accountability and have the desire to travel

and work with undergraduate chapters.

 

What is an Associate Director for Chapter Services?

Associate Directors for Chapter Services are the eyes and ears of

the Kappa Alpha Order National Administrative Office. You will work with undergraduate

and alumni members of the Order every day.  This day in, day out communication with

our members makes the Associate Director for Chapter Services role one of the

fraternity's most important.

 

What are some of the responsibilities of an Associate Director for Chapter Services?

Partner with staff members, alumni, and university administrators to support

Kappa Alpha chapters.

Conduct yearly audits of chapter operations and provide goals and feedback to

help chapters achieve excellence.

Conduct workshops and presentations to benefit both undergraduate

and alumni members of the Order.

Participate in the programming and execution of the Order's programs and conferences.

Assist in the creation, re-colonization and training of provisional chapters.

Help to mold the future of the Order through strategic planning.

 

What is expected from the position?

Relocate to the one of the cities listed below

Develop and maintain a schedule of visiting more than 30 undergraduate

chapters each year.

Operate within the budget provided for your position.

Commit to a two-year minimum employment agreement.

Meet the basic guidelines of the position as communicated to you by the

Director of Chapter Services.

 

Where will I live?

We are currently interviewing for four positions that will be placed in some of

the following cities. You are encouraged to apply for a position in any of the regions

in which you would be willing to live. These locations allow for optimal travel

within your region and can allow you to return home as often as 40% of weekends

during a semester.

 

 

(Region 1) Lexington, VA or Washington D.C.

                to travel: VA, WV, NC, MD, DE, NJ, PA, WA, CA

 

(Region 2) Atlanta, GA, Columbia, SC, or Charlotte, NC

                to travel: SC, GA, FL, AL, AZ, CA

 

(Region 3) Nashville, TN or Lexington, KY

                to travel: TN, KY, MO, IN, OH, AR

 

(Region 4) Dallas, TX or Houston, TX

                to travel: TX, LA, OK, MS

 

What compensation is offered?

Kappa Alpha Order offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.
