Credentials – Convention

Credentials shall be filed prior to the opening meeting of Convention. The Number I and III must have signatures on the Credential form. Please file early and send to the Kappa Alpha Order National Administrative Office and Executive Director through the following means:

Credentials must be filed ten days prior (see the "Call to Convention," also found on this site, including the text below) to the opening meeting of the Convention with the Executive Director of Kappa Alpha Order, to the following:

Kappa Alpha Laws 2-213: Credentials.
Upon election or designation of delegates and alternate delegates to any Convention, the I and III of each Active Chapter and any two officers of an Alumni Chapter shall execute Convention credentials provided by the Executive Director. For Active Chapters such credentials shall be filed prior to the opening meeting of Convention. For Alumni Chapters such credentials shall be filed 10 days prior to the opening meeting of the Convention.
Credentials must be filed by Alumni Chapters no later than Sunday, June 21, 2009. This is a Sunday, and the National Administrative Office will be closed but facsimile transmissions and scanned documents sent by electronic mail can be received. In order for staff to confirm receipt, however, any credentials sent by these methods should be received not later than 5:00 pm Eastern time on Friday, June 19.
