GreekLifeEdu
GreekLifeEdu® is Kappa Alpha Order’s online Population-Level Prevention® program that educates an entire group of students about behaviors that compromise personal safety and challenges preconceived social norms. Tailored to the needs of the Greek community, GreekLifeEdu is an interactive program that focuses on alcohol consumption, hazing, and sexual assault, helping students make safer and healthier decisions.
New Members must complete Part 1 of the course before they are initiated!
To get your new members started using GreekLifeEdu, you will need to provide the following instructions:
1) Go to www.GreekLifeEdu.com.
2) Enter 11GKAO as a new user and sign up to create an account.
3) Select state and school to begin course.
Chapters will be fined $25 per new member that fails to complete and pass the course by the December 2rd deadline. However, as an incentive, the chapter will receive a $10 insurance rebate per new member only when 100% of the new members complete the course by the deadline. Part 1 of the course takes approximately 3 hours to complete and we recommend that the new member take it in multiple sittings. Part 1 ends with the Exam and Survey 2. He must earn a grade of 80% or higher to pass and receive credit for Part 1 of the course.
About one month after the new member completes Part 1, he will receive an email asking him to complete Part 2, which includes Module 4 and Survey 3. Part 2 must be completed by December 15th.
Kappa Alpha Order is deeply committed to the greatest health and welfare, and ultimate success of all of our members. Thank you for helping us to keep this commitment.
