Michael joined the national staff in 2003 as an Education and Leadership Consultant. He was promoted in 2004 and served until 2010, as the Director of Chapter Services. Since then, he has served in the capacity of Director of Fraternity Services. He is a member of the Courts of Honor for Ammen, Candler, and Hamilton Provinces. He a Loyal Order member (#40) and he began participation with Forever KA in 2011.
The Director of Fraternity Services assists the Executive Director with various tasks and projects. Additionally, his work includes coordinating withprovince commanders, assisting alumni chapters and local house corporations.
Professionally, he is a Member of Association of Fraternity and Sorority Advisors (AFA) and Fraternity Executives Association (FEA).
Michael was born and raised in Paducah, Kentucky where he graduated from Reidland High School. Michael attended Transylvania University on a baseball and academic scholarship where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting. In 2011 he and his wife Nikki had their first child Ellie and celebrated their 5 year wedding anniversary. Michael is a member of Lexington Baptist Church, the Lexington-Rockbridge Jaycees and participates in various community projects and fundraisers.
Hobbies and Interests:
- Volunteering and giving back to the community;
- Watching, attending and/or playing sports (baseball, football, volleyball, golf, basketball and horse racing);
- St. Louis Cardinals and the Michigan Wolverines;
- Reading Garden and Gun magazine;
- Collecting logo golf balls from campuses he visits;
- Vacationing with his family.
