Introducing Kappa Alpha Order’s 40th Knight Commander
Darren S. Kay was elected as the 40th Knight Commander of Kappa Alpha Order during the 76th Biennial Convention on Saturday, August 1st, 2015, in Roanoke, Virginia. Kay will serve a term of two years and will be eligible for re-election at the 77th Convention to be held in the summer of 2017.
Kay is a 1988 initiate of the Alpha Eta Chapter at Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri, and he has served the Kappa Alpha Order in several capacities since graduating with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting, Business Administration and Economics.
Darren was elected to the Executive Council in 2007 and as Senior Councilor in 2012. Darren had previously served as the Commander of Henry C. Chiles Province from 2000 until 2007.
Darren resides outside of Indianapolis with his wife, Karen, and two boys, Allen and Mason. Darren is an assurance partner in Ernst & Young’s Financial Services office, where he has specialized in the insurance industry during his over twenty year career at Ernst & Young. He leads Ernst & Young’s insurance practice in the Indiana marketplace and is a frequent speaker on insurance industry topics.
