KA Gives Tops $171,000 for Day of Giving

Day of Giving I Am Part of HistoryTo cap off 2015 and the Sesquicentennial Celebration, the Kappa Alpha Order Educational Foundation (KAOEF) hosted KA Gives, an inaugural day of giving, on December 21st. 

Through a combination of online and direct mail giving, including crowdfunding by undergraduate and alumni individuals and groups, the results were the biggest single event success in KAOEF history.

  • 878 individual donors
  • Including 576 online donors
  • Made a total of 934 total donations
  • And, overall, $171,000 was raised for the KAOEF!

The hundreds who made contributions have helped to impact future KAs through scholarships & leadership educational like the Number I’s Leadership Institute, Province Council, Emerging Leaders Academy and the E. Fleming Mason Memorial D.C. Internship. These programs are all designed to help our brothers be better prepared to face the challenges within their chapter, as well as provide skills that will be transferable beyond their time in college.

Kappa Alpha Order, the Kappa Alpha Order Educational Foundation, and future KAs everywhere thank you for your support.
