KAOEF Day of Giving Recap – Pull Together for KA
The Kappa Alpha Order Educational Foundation (KAOEF) held its second annual Day of Giving, Pull Together for KA, on Wednesday, December 21, 2016. Themed and named after a famous quote by our Chief Founder James Ward Wood, the goal was to pull together 750 donors to the KAOEF on or before December 21st. Members, alumni, parents, and friends were able to support the Order by making a tax-deductible gift in honor of their or any chapter.
“I want to thank all of you that supported the Day of Giving with a donation, and I am pleased to say that this past year’s Day of Giving was a tremendous success,” stated Former Knight Commander and KAOEF Chief Development Officer Ben W. Satcher, Jr. (Delta Omicron–Clemson ’79). “The dollars raised and the number of donors far exceeded all of the KAOEF staff’s expectations.”
The 2016 Day of Giving raised more than $178,000 from more than 1,300 donors, well exceeding the goal of 750 donors.
