2018 Mikell and Walsh Court of Honor Induction

The Bishop Henry J. Mikell Province and the William Archibald Walsh Province Courts of Honor held their annual induction ceremony on Saturday, February 24th, 2018, at The Crescent Club in downtown Dallas, Texas. More than one hundred and twenty brothers and friends gathered to celebrate our beloved Kappa Alpha Order and those distinguished alumni who have given their time, energy and service to KA, making it the largest gathering to date of the courts.

The induction ceremony was performed by 38th Knight Commander J. Michael “Mike” Duncan (Delta Kappa–Stephen F. Austin State ’69) and 32nd Knight Commander Dr. Idris R. Traylor, Jr. (Gamma Chi–Texas Tech ’70) , acting as preceptor and registrar.

The following men were recognized and invested with the provincial cross of honor in recognition of their outstanding service to the Order and accomplishments which have brought honor to Kappa Alpha Order.

Councilor Samuel O. Leake, Jr. presented John H. Turner with the Award for Distinguished Public Service for his efforts as a respected civil and community leader.
