Newest Trustees of the KAOEF Board
The Kappa Alpha Order Educational Foundation welcomes our newest trustees, R. Scott Heath (Delta–Wofford ’77), who is joining the Board for the first time, and the Honorable David M. Warren (Tau–Wake Forest ’78) returns to the Board. Both men will serve a three-year term.
Scott is the Branch Manager, First Vice President-Investments and PIM Portfolio Manager at Wells Fargo Advisors in Spartanburg, South Carolina. He attended Wofford College where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. A member of the Crimson and Gold Society since 2013, Scott has consistently shown his dedication to KAOEF.
Scott lives in Spartanburg, South Carolina with his wife, Pamela. They have two children, Brooksie and Mercer (Rho–South Carolina ’13). In addition to his professional work, Scott actively works with local organizations in his community, including Piedmont Club, the Country Club of Spartanburg, and the Cancer Association of Spartanburg and Cherokee County.
Warren currently serves as a United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Eastern District of North Carolina. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Wake Forest University and his Juris Doctorate from Wake Forest University School of Law. During his time at the Tau chapter, he served as Number III and Rush Chairman. Since his time at Wake Forest, Warren has served the Order on the Board of Directors in 1995, as Senior Councilor from 1997 to 2001, and as the Knight Commander from 2001 to 2003. He was also appointed to the Board of Directors of the North-American Interfraternity Conference (NIC) in 2014.
Warren lives in Raleigh, North Carolina with his wife, Keena, a business development manager at Smith Moore Leatherwood LLP, a law firm in Raleigh. They have two children, Ashley and McLean (Epsilon Mu–Elon ’14).
