Neely and West Recognized as Alumnus Advisor of the Year
At the 78th Convention & Brotherhood Weekend in New Orleans, Louisiana, Knight Commander Kay recognized Frederick L. “Fred” Neely, Jr. (Epsilon–Emory ’63) and Andrew C. West (Epsilon–Emory ’90) as the Alumnus Advisor of Year. The Alumnus Advisor of the Year Award is given annually to recognize an alumnus advisor for excellence and achievement.
“I am proud to present this award to two individuals who split time as advisor during this past year,” Kay noted. “Fred and Andrew have been instrumental in re-establishing Epsilon chapter, including developing a positive relationship with Emory and its administration, building trust amongst the membership, and coalescing alumni support for housing and advising.”
Fred Neely served Epsilon chapter as advisor from 1980 to 2018, when Andrew West was appointed to succeed him. Andrew is a member of the United States Marine Corps and currently works at the Senior Center Administrator in the Healthcare Innovation Program at Emory University. Fred is retired from SunTrust Bank where he worked in commercial real estate.
