Emory Celebrates 150 Years of KA
On the weekend of Friday, September 20 and Saturday, September 21, the Epsilon Chapter at Emory University celebrated their 150th Anniversary. More than 180 brothers and guests enjoyed a weekend filled with events including a golf outing, brotherhood barbecue with Emory University President Claire E. Sterk in attendance, campus tour, open house, and celebration banquet in the newly opened student center.
After rechartering in the spring of 2019, the chapter brothers moved back into the historic chapter house this fall.
At the banquet, Knight Commander C. Douglas Simmons III bestowed the Knight Commander’s Accolade upon three influential alumni of Epsilon Chapter; Walter M. “Sonny” Deriso, Jr., Frederick L. “Fred” Neely, Jr., and Andrew C. West.
