The second was given to William E. Garner (Alpha Upsilon ’81, University of Mississippi) at the headquarters dedication weekend. Garner was recognized for his instrumental role in acquiring the new national headquarters building and overseeing the merger of the Kappa Alpha Scholarship Fund with the Kappa Alpha Order Educational Foundation as KAOEF executive director from 1988-92.
