Families and guests are welcome to join in any of the following activities and are encouraged to enjoy the resort’s seven pools and a 10% discount to the spa. Also, learn more about The Arizona Biltmore and its designer Frank Lloyd Wright with a self-guided tour.

Sunrise Hike – Meet in the Lobby to Depart at 5:30 a.m.
Start the day off in the beautiful outdoors with a moderate to difficult hike with a big scenic payoff. The infamous Piestewa Peak Summit Trail is an out and back trail that rewards hikers with a three-hundred-sixty-degree view of the Phoenix metropolitan area. This summit trail has been a Phoenix favorite for several decades and is internationally recognized among hiking communities. Distance: 1.2 miles – Elevation Change: 1,200 feet

Breakfast at Frank & Albert’s – 8:30 a.m. – Pay at Your Own Expense.
Named for the resort’s architectural inspirations Frank Lloyd Wright and Albert Chase McArthur, Frank & Albert’s skillfully blends contemporary American cuisine, a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere and an iconic setting that pays homage to the resort’s celebrated heritage. The culinary destination features fare prepared from the highest quality, locally-sourced ingredients using sustainable farm practices and classic technique.

Hands-On Cooking Class – 11:30 a.m. – $65
Learn how to prepare this Sizzling Southwest menu of homemade tortilla chips with salsa and guacamole, spice-rubbed pork tenderloin, corn mango salad, Spanish rice, and chocolate mousse. A highly experienced chef will teach essential food preparation techniques, the importance of presentation, and how to blend flavor together.

Frank Lloyd Wright’s beloved winter home and desert laboratory was established in 1937, and diligently handcrafted over many years into a world unto itself. Deeply connected to the desert from which it was forged, Taliesin West possesses an almost prehistoric grandeur. It was built and maintained almost entirely by Wright and his apprentices, making it among the most personal of the architect’s creations. Lunch Paid at your own expense.

Take time to relax and enjoy one of the Arizona Biltmore’s seven pools that have witnessed a century of sun-soaked glamour. They’ve helped celebrities hide in plain sight, played host to all sorts of shakers and makers… and now they’re yours. From cool hideaways to crazy high slides, it’s time to find your own brand of happy and get busy relaxing. Convention attendees also receive a 10% discount to the spa. Bubbles at the Biltmore – 3:00 p.m.
Raise a glass with your fellow KA Roses at a women-only reception. Learn about the wine-making process from Brandon Chaney, Proprietor & CEO Fairwinds Estate Winery, home of Excelsior Napa Valley, the Order’s wine program. Be the first to taste The Order’s sparkling brut, Excelsior. Hosted by Ellen Aiken.


Tour of Wrigley Mansion and Brunch – 10:00 a.m. – $40
A breathtaking landmark originally constructed in 1932 by chewing gum magnate William Wrigley Jr., Wrigley Mansion was thoughtfully designed as a 50th-anniversary gift to his beloved wife, Ada. Sitting at the top of a hill, The Mansion commands the most dramatic views in Phoenix, showcasing the mountains and the city below. Its architecture includes curated elements of Spanish, California Monterey, and Mediterranean styles. Following the tour, we’ll be treated to a brunch on-site by the Mansion’s in-house team!
