Membership in Kappa Alpha Order is lifelong experience and commitment

Your relationship and membership in Kappa Alpha Order last well beyond your graduation from active membership in your Chapter. As KAs, we are men of the Order for life. We ask that every KA donates their time, talent, or treasure to support the betterment of your local chapter and Kappa Alpha Order as a whole.

Established in 1982, the Kappa Alpha Order Educational Foundation (KAOEF) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.

The Foundation provides grants for educational programs of the fraternity, such as the National Leadership Institute, Province Councils, The Crusade, the E. Fleming Mason Memorial Internship and provides scholarships to deserving graduate and undergraduate students. KAOEF funds these programs with donations contributed by KA alumni.

The Foundation encourages alumni to contribute annually to KA, and it is through this generosity, that these programs for our undergraduates are carried out. Kappa Alpha Order Executive Director Larry Wiese supervises the day-to-day administration of the foundation and is assisted by three staff members. The Foundation is governed by a 22-member board of trustees which is composed of alumni who volunteer their time on the Order’s behalf.

If you have any questions about the Foundation or if you would like more information, please contact Ben Satcher or Larry S. Wiese or visit www.kaoef.org.
