L. Blair Bailey

Gamma Eta–Florida State ’88

Blair Bailey was initiated at Gamma Iota in 1988 and served as Number II, Number VII, and Number IX. Blair has served as the Preceptor for the William B. Crawford Province Court of Honor, as a member of Gamma Eta Chapter’s Alumni Advisory Committee at Florida State University and as a member of the Gamma Eta Housing Committee where he had a great deal to do with the planning, fundraising, and construction of a new chapter house in 2004.

In 2003, at the 70th Convention in Tampa, Florida, Blair was Director of Model Initiation Ceremony. Blair was elected Province Commander of William B. Crawford Province twice. The first was in 2004 to 2007. Then he came back and served again in 2011 and 2012. He was first elected to the Executive Council in 2012.

Blair is a member of the Kappa Alpha Order Educational Foundation’s Crimson & Gold Society, Forever KA, and the 1865 Trust.

From Tallahassee, Florida, Blair is a real estate developer. He and his wife, Monica, have two daughters, Madison and Amelia, and they are members of Trinity United Methodist Church.
