High Point Brothers Recognized with Knight Commander’s Commendation

During the Knight Commander’s Banquet of the 79th Convention and Brotherhood Weekend, Alexander F. “Alex” Hallahan (Zeta Phi–High Point ’18) and Holden A. Quinn (Zeta Phi–High Point ’17) were presented with the Knight Commander’s Commendation. The Knight Commander’s Commendation was created by the Executive Council to recognize outstanding service and leadership to the Order by members of Active Chapters. The award was established in 2020 and is the highest undergraduate award. It is given at the sole discretion of the Knight Commander.

Alexander F. “Alex” Hallahan
(Zeta Phi–High Point ’18)

Alex Hallahan is a Ridgefield, Connecticut native and a rising Senior Business Administration major at High Point University. He was initiated to the Zeta Phi chapter of Kappa Alpha Order in 2018 and began working with Holden Quinn and Michael Esposito on Operation K.A.R.E. in early 2019. Since then, the growing initiative has expanded nationwide. Alex manages the growing Operation K.A.R.E. team, oversees all out-reach programs and operations for the initiative while a full-time student.


Holden A. Quinn
(Zeta Phi–High Point ’17)

Holden Quinn graduated in May from High Point University where he was a 2017 initiate of the Zeta Phi chapter. Holden is from Topsail Beach, North Carolina and has returned to the area to start his career with MegaCorp Logistics in Wilmington. Holden began working with Michael Esposito on the Operation K.A.R.E. initiative in 2018 as Zeta Phi’s philanthropy chair before moving his focus toward growing the effort nationally. He now continues to work with the growing team overseeing the initiative’s strategy and partnerships in his free time after graduation.
