Former Knight Commander Traylor Leads NIC and Honored by KA

On December 6, Former Knight Commander Dr. ldris R. Traylor became the 91st president of the National Interfraternity Conference (NlC). As president he oversees the NIC board and the operations of the NIC, which provides educational services to 64 member fraternities. Traylor is the second KA to hold this position; Frank Myers (Alpha Nu ’15) was president of the NIC in 1949. At the NIC/AFA (American Fraternity Advisors) closing banquet, Traylor was honored by his fellow KA brothers with the Order’s lnterfraternal Service Accolade which recognizes outstanding service to the American fraternity system.
