Edmond H. Wilson

Eddie graduated from Georgia Southern in 1983 and later earned his MBA from Mercer University in 1992.

Eddie has more than three decades of experience in banking, serving as a community banker in roles ranging from Branch Manager to Chief Executive Officer. In 2018, he retired from banking and joined Raymond James Financial to establish an advisory practice.

His civic and professional involvement has included service on the board of the Greater Rome Chamber of Commerce and as Chairman of the Floyd County Development Authority. He was appointed by Governor Sonny Perdue to serve as a director of both the Georgia Student Finance Commission and the Georgia Development Authority. In Macon, he has served on the boards of the Macon Economic Development Commission and Young Life and is a member of the United Way Campaign Cabinet. He has also been active in leadership development, participating in Leadership Georgia (Class of 1990) and local leadership programs in Perry, Calhoun, Rome, and Macon. At age 25, he was elected to the Perry, Georgia City Council.

Eddie has served the Order as Hardeman Province Commander from 1984 to 1986, and again from 2022 to 2026. In 1996, he was inducted into the Hardeman Province Court of Honor, of which he served as Treasurer from 2019 to 2024. He is a Forever KA participant, a member of the Loyal Order, a 12-year member of the Kappa Alpha Order Educational Foundation’s Crimson & Gold Society, and a member of the 1865 Trust.

Eddie has been active in his church, serving in leadership roles and teaching Sunday School in both Rome and Macon.

He and his wife, Penny, a former KA Rose, have three KA sons: Lawton (Gamma–Georgia ’04), Patrick (Gamma–Georgia ’09), and Brantley (Delta Theta–Georgia Southern ’15). They have three grandchildren: Harper, Maggie, and Hayes.
