SGT Clevie C. Luckadoo Jr.

Clevie Luckadoo graduated from Western Carolina University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration in 1968. While in school, Clevie was on University Center Committees and was Senior Class President. Clevie joined Delta Alpha Chapter the year after it was founded and has been an ardent supporter ever since. He served as Treasurer, New Member Educator and on various committees.
In 1969, following graduation, Clevie joined the United States Army where he would serve for two years, including one in Vietnam. After his service, he began a career in the automotive industry, including working for Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., Quaker State Oil Corp., Old World Automotive Industries, Inc., Ritch, Luckadoo & Associates LLC, and BP (Castrol) LLC, before retiring in 2009.
During his busy and successful career, he gave back to the Order and his chapter. He has served in the past as President, Treasurer, and Secretary of the Cullowhee KA Alumni Chapter, and currently is focused on alumni relations. He has been named the Delta Alpha Alumnus of the Year in 2003. Clevie is a member of the Military Division of Kappa Alpha Order, the Loyal Order, and the Ed Chambers Smith Province Court of Honor.
Clevie is married to Shirley, his wife of 46 years. They have a son, Cliff Luckadoo, who is married to Katie, with a grandson, 10, and granddaughter, 7. They also have a daughter, Suzy, who is married to Jeff Kallam, with two granddaughters, 9, and 7.
