William C. Brewer, Esq.

William C. Brewer earned a B.A. in Biology in 1976 and a B.S. in Accounting in 1977 from WVU. He received his Juris Doctor from George Mason University School of Law in 1980 and was admitted to the West Virginia Bar in 1981.

He is the founder and principal attorney of William C. Brewer & Associates, PLLC, in Morgantown, West Virginia. His practice focuses on civil litigation, criminal defense, commercial law, personal injury, and family law. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of West Virginia, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court.

Brewer has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America© in multiple categories, including Criminal Defense – White Collar, Commercial Litigation, and Personal Injury. He was named “Lawyer of the Year” for Morgantown in 2021 for Criminal Defense – White Collar. He holds a Distinguished peer rating from Martindale-Hubbell and has earned Client Champion status.

Brewer had previously served for more than a decade as President of the Alpha Rho Alumni Corporation. Under his leadership, the organization raised over $1.2 million for chapter house renovations and mobilized support from more than 700 alumni. He is a multi-year member of the KAOEF’s Crimson & Gold Society.

Brewer and his wife, Susan, live in Morgantown, West Virginia.
