The Number I’s Leadership Institute (NLI) is an intensive informational and educational retreat. In order to provide a productive learning atmosphere for the conference, there is a zero-tolerance policy for alcohol or drug use. The focus of the Institute is to educate and empower Number I’s to understand their role and responsibility as the chapter’s highest elected officer, recognize the tools and support systems provided, and to understand the standards and policies of operating an active chapter of Kappa Alpha Order.
This year’s NLI will take place January 4 through 7, 2024, in Sophia, North Carolina, at the Caraway Conference Center. All Number Is are required to attend.
