Michael P. Wilson

Awarded: Knight Commander’s Accolade

Michael joined the staff of the National Administrative Office as an Educational and Leadership Consultant in June, 2003, visiting chapters in Arkansas and Texas. In 2004, he was promoted as director of chapter services. For seven years he led this department, overseeing the transition from Educational and Leadership Consultants to Associate Directors for Chapter Services, including living arrangement re-organization and significant changes in travel structure. He transitioned to the role of Director of Fraternity Services, then Operations for two years where he oversaw a database conversion to Compass, a product and service provided by OmegaFi. In 2014, he was named Assistant Executive Director for Alumni Affairs. In this role he led the alumni services and housing support initiatives of the Order and the Fraternity Housing Corporation. He created the Alumni College, and other alumni programs, helped to transition Leadership KA to a program conducted at the Number I’s Leadership Institute, and continued improvements to the grounds at Mulberry Hill including the installation of the Veterans Memorial and Entryway and installation of a brick paver driveway.

In the interfraternal community, Michael has held membership in the Fraternity Executives Association (FEA), receiving the 10 Year Member Award in 2013, and the Association of Fraternity and Sorority Advisors (AFA) where he served in regional leadership. He was named Volunteer of the Month for his efforts related to the planning of a drive-in conference for Virginia members. He is a past presenter at the FRMT Risk Management College, the Mid-American Greek Council Association (MGCA) and the Association of Fraternal Leadership & Values (AFLV) Central and West conferences. Additionally, for the past three years, Michael has served as the Executive Director for NovakTalks, a consulting and advocacy company for campus safety, hazing prevention, student risk management and student organization development.

In addition to being a member of the Crimson and Gold Society, The Loyal Order, and the 1865 Trust, Michael is a member of the W. McLeod Frampton, Jr., Henry C. Chiles, William Sprigg Hamilton, Samuel Zenas Ammen, and John S. Candler Province Courts of Honor.

Michael resides in Indianapolis, Indiana with his wife, Nikki, and his two children, Ellie and Nolan, where he is the Chief Financial Officer for the North-American Interfraternity Conference.
