Former Knight Commander David M. “Dink” Warren (Tau–Wake Forest ’78) has been elected to serve a one-year term as Vice President of the North Carolina Bar Association (NCBA) for the 2025–26 year. The election took place during the NCBA Board of Governors meeting on April 4.
Judge Warren currently serves on the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina, based in Raleigh. He joins a group of newly elected vice presidents that includes Judge Joseph Crosswhite, Chief District Court Judge Christy Wilhelm, and Duke Law Associate Dean Geoff Krouse.
A member of the Alpha Omega Chapter, Warren has served in the federal judiciary for many years and has been active in legal and professional circles across the state. His election to this leadership role reflects his ongoing involvement in the legal profession in North Carolina.
Warren will begin his term following the NCBA Annual Meeting later this year.
