Michael G. “Mike” Wade (Delta Alpha–Western Carolina ’75) was recently recognized by the Friends of Scouting with the Distinguished Citizen Award. The honor was presented for his leadership, community service, and support of youth programs through the Boy Scouts of America.
Wade, has long been involved in Scouting and local civic efforts. The award highlights his commitment to the values of service and character development. He is a 2-year member of the Kappa Alpha Order Educational Foundation’s Crimson & Gold Society.
