Brandon M. Brown

Director of Communications

Gamma Lambda–North Texas ’21

Brandon Brown serves as Director of Communications where he handles promotional material, social media presence, and external communications to undergraduate and alumni members of KA.

A proud Texan, Brandon was born and raised in The Woodlands, a township just north of Houston. After graduating high school, Brandon decided to attend the University of North Texas with the goal of expanding his knowledge of television and radio. That goal was interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic, as Brandon spent the spring semester of his freshman year in his hometown and his sophomore year completely remote.

Brandon discovered Kappa Alpha Order and the members of the Gamma Lambda Chapter just before his junior year. After getting to know the gentlemen over the summer, Brandon underwent the formal recruitment process and was given a bid, which he signed later that same night. During his time in the chapter, he served as Number VIII and completed two terms as Intramural Sports Co-Chair. Outside of KA, Brandon held the position of Assistant Entertainment Director at his university’s local television station, North Texas Television, from his second semester of his junior year to his last semester of his senior year.

Brandon graduated in May 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in Media Arts and a minor in Marketing and, shortly thereafter, joined the National Administrative Office staff as an Associate Director for Chapter Services. In this role, he served chapters in the Crawford, Feller, Frampton, Hardeman, Irwin, Locke, Neal, and Smith Provinces, launched the return of the Georgetown Provisional Chapter at Georgetown College, and assisted with the re-chartering of the Epsilon Iota Chapter at Texas State University. He was promoted to Director of Communications in May 2025. His interests include filmmaking, fine arts, history, sports, and volunteering.
