Tanner L. Gellinger

Zeta Omicron–Southern Indiana ’12

Tanner L. Gellinger (Zeta Omicron–Southern Indiana ’12) serves as a Director of Development for the Kappa Alpha Order Educational Foundation. In this role, he leads the growth and advancement of the Crimson & Gold Society and supports the KAOEF President and staff across all operational areas in accordance with the Foundation’s bylaws and strategic priorities.

Prior to joining the Foundation staff in 2019, Tanner served the Order as an Associate Director for Chapter Development from 2016 to 2018. In that capacity, he focused on undergraduate recruitment efforts and the expansion and development of provisional chapters at colleges and universities across the United States.

A native of Logansport, Indiana, Tanner earned his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Sociology from the University of Southern Indiana in 2016. As an undergraduate member, he served as Number I, Number II, Traylor Province Undergraduate Chairman, and Executive Vice President of the Interfraternity Council (IFC). He is a member of the Ammen, Candler, Hamilton, Traylor, and Wood Courts of Honor and is recognized as a Steward of the Order.

Tanner earned the Certificate in Fund Raising Management (CFRM) from the Indiana University Lilly School of Philanthropy in December 2023 and achieved his Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) designation in December 2024.

He resides in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with his wife, Jackie, and their daughter, Grace. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf and tennis, watching Chicago Cubs baseball, and spending time with family and friends.
