2021 Interns

The Kappa Alpha Order Internship Program was created to provide deserving undergraduates with the desire to become better educated and informed on both the public and private sectors of our national government. In addition, this program will give undergraduates the opportunity to gain professional work experience while living in Washington, D.C., Dallas, Texas, or Atlanta, Georgia. The Program provides a once in a lifetime opportunity to any interested Kappa Alpha Order undergraduate to interact with other interns from across the country. J. Thomas W. Anderson (Epsilon Eta–Virginia Tech ’17)

Anderson, a native of Springfield Virginia, is a recent graduate of Virginia Tech where he majored in Finance and minored in Economics. Anderson has served the Epsilon Eta chapter as Number VII and has served on the Prudential and Philanthropy committees. After graduating, Anderson plans to work for a year or two before eventually attending law school, in pursuit of one day practicing criminal law.

Christopher L. “C.J.” Chiasson (Gamma Phi–
Louisiana-Lafayette ’17)

C.J., originally from Crowley, Louisiana, is a senior at the University of Louisiana-Lafayette, who will graduate in May with a bachelor’s degree in business management. As an active member in the Gamma Phi chapter, he has served as the Number I, II, III, and V, as well as representing the chapter within the local IFC. C.J. is also a very active member in his community and plans to help expand his father’s auto-wholesale company and seek other entrepreneurial opportunities after graduation.

F. Austin Humphrey (Kappa–Mercer ’17)

Austin is a senior from Peachtree City, Georgia and will be graduating from Mercer University in May 2021 with degrees in International Affairs and Global Health, along with minors in History and German. While at Kappa Chapter, Austin served as VIII, VI, IV and III and currently, as a financial advisor. Upon graduation, he will attend graduate school at Georgia Tech.

Caleb L. Lambert (Epsilon Alpha–South Alabama ’18)

Caleb is a junior from Oxford, AL majoring in Marketing Management at the University of South Alabama. He is currently serving as the National Undergraduate Chairman and as the Number I for his chapter. He also serves as an Associate Justice for the South Alabama SGA. After graduation, Caleb hopes to work within a Professional or Collegiate Athletic marketing program.

Patrick D. Riley (Alpha Iota–Centenary ’19)

Riley is a senior from Baton Rouge, Louisiana and is majoring in Political Science with a minor in Legal Studies at Centenary. He has served his chapter as Number I, III, and V. He is a member of the Men’s Soccer Team, a Senior Senator in the Student Government Association, and is the inaugural member of the Public Interest Law Scholar Program. Riley has served in the Office of Governor John Bel Edwards, the U.S Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Louisiana, and with Hargrove, Smelley, & Strickland, APLC. After graduation, he hopes to attend law school in the Fall of 2022 to pursue a career in politics and hopes to run for political office.

Jonathan B. Thomson (Alpha Iota–Centenary ’18)

Thomson is from Corsicana, Texas, and is currently a senior pursuing a degree in Business Administration at Centenary College of Louisiana. As a member of Alpha Iota chapter, Jonathan has served as the Number VI, as well as head of the prudential committee. He is a member of the Centenary men’s soccer team, and previously served the college as IFC Vice President and freshman orientation counselor. After graduation, Jonathan hopes to pursue a career in the legal field concentrating on financial and real estate litigation.

Zachary K. “Zach” Wollermann (Gamma Eta–Florida State ’19)

A rising senior from Tallahassee, Florida, Zach is currently pursuing a double major in both Political Science and English Lit/Media/Culture, as a pre-law student. Zach has served the Gamma Eta chapter as a two-term Number I, and currently serves as the National Undergraduate Vice-Chairman. He also represented Florida State University on the IFC Executive Council, and currently is serving as the IFC Delegate for The Movement and Student Government.
