Two West Virginia Wesleyan Brothers Inducted into Nation Marketing Honor Society

Dakota M. Bull (Beta Chi–West Virginia Wesleyan ’17) and Cole D. Skaggs (Beta Chi–West Virginia Wesleyan ’17) were two of the four seniors at West Virginia Wesleyan College who were inducted into the Alpha Mu Alpha national marketing honor society. To be eligible for membership, senior marketing majors must have achieved an overall grade point average of 3.25 or higher.

“Each of these soon-to-be marketing professionals have excelled in their studies, not just in marketing courses, but in all business and general education courses,” advisor Dr. Kimberly Conrad said. “To say I am proud of these four amazing students is an understatement. It has been an honor and a blessing from God to be a small part of their academic success. I am confident that I will hear about their continued professional success in the years to come.”

Dakota is from Clarksburg, West Virginia, and is completing the college’s five-year MBA program this semester with a concentration in human resources. He has interned with West Virginia Wesleyan College, ERIE Insurance, and Artistry on Main. Additionally, he has served as president and vice president of the college’s American Marketing Association, Number I of the Beta Chi Chapter. After graduation, Dakota will go to work for Baker Tilly as a health care consultant.

Cole is from Clairsville, Ohio, and is also earning his MBA this year. He has been a member of the college’s football team for the past four years and was named to the All-Mountain East Conference Academic Team for three of those years. Cole has also been inducted into the Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society, was a member of the college’s American Marketing Association, and has served as Beta Chi Chapter’s Number IV. Additionally, he has interned with West Virginia University Medicine focusing on community practice and public relations.
