During the 81st Convention in Roanoke, Steven M. “Steve” Acosta was recognized as Alumnus Advisor of the Year.
A successful professional in sales and consulting through his firm, Steven Acosta & Co., Steve has also held leadership roles at Arthur Andersen & Co. and KPMG. Beyond his career, he has dedicated decades of service to his community and alma mater through organizations such as Camp Ronald McDonald, Ronald McDonald House Southern California, AVIVA Family Services, the Los Angeles Zoo Association, and the Los Angeles Boys and Girls Club. He has also contributed to the USC community involvement with the USC Associates, the School of Accounting, the Board of Governors, and the Mexican American Alumni Association.
Steve has been a mentor and leader to generations of undergraduate brothers, embodying the spirit of brotherhood and service that defines Kappa Alpha Order, accepting the award from then Knight Commander King V. Aiken, Jr. on Thursday, July 31, at the 81st Convention in Roanoke, Virginia.
