Lee P. Oliver III (Kappa–Mercer ’86) was conferred the Knight Commander’s Accolade by Knight Commander King V. Aiken, Jr. on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at the Mercer University Newton Chapel during the Kappa Chapter’s Sesquicentennial Anniversary Celebration Weekend.
In more than fifty-five years, seventeen Knight Commanders have conferred this recognition on just two hundred and fifty-two brothers. For comparison, during that same time period, 124,000 brothers have been initiated. Indeed, the Knight Commander’s Accolade is the highest individual honor an alumnus can receive.
