During the 81st Convention in Roanoke, the Certificate of Honor was presented to Patrick K. Moore (Epsilon Eta–Virginia Tech ’84) and Alexander “Alex” Nesterczuk (Epsilon Eta–Virginia Tech ’15) by then Knight Commander, King V. Aiken, Jr. They were the Model Initiation directors for the 81st Convention. The initiation took place in University (formerly Lee) Chapel at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia.
Patrick Moore launched his legal career in 1993 and went on to found his own practice in 2001. Over the years, his firm has grown to include a second office in Blacksburg. In recognition of his firm’s excellence, Virginia Living Magazine readers named it the “Best Law Firm in Southwest Virginia” in 2022. Deeply committed to community service, Patrick has served as president of both the Radford Red Cross and Goodwill Industries of the New River Valley. He remains actively involved with his alma mater as the Alumni Adviser to the Epsilon Eta Chapter at Virginia Tech. Patrick and his wife, Angela Richerson Moore, are proud parents of three sons.
Alex Nesterczuk is a Senior Project Manager at HITT Contracting where he oversees project execution and coordinate team activities. Nesterczuk’s career began as a Construction Intern and steadily advanced through positions as Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, and Project Manager, ultimately leading to his current role as Senior Project Manager. In this role, he oversees all aspects of project delivery, directing teams and ensuring efficient on-site operations. Prior to joining HITT Contracting, Nestercczuk worked as a Construction Intern with L.F. Jennings, contributing to various commercial projects across the Mid-Atlantic region. Earlier, at DePaul’s Urban Farm, he worked as a Field Handyman Sales Associate, where he was responsible for facility upkeep, equipment maintenance, and customer service duties including sales and cashier operations.
