Southern Indiana Alumnus Recognized for Saving Woman’s Life

Corin McKee with award and superior

Deputy Corin McKee (Zeta Omicron-Southern Indiana ’15) was recognized by the Hendricks County (Indiana) Sheriff’s Office with a letter of commendation this morning by Sheriff Sadler for his life-saving efforts after recently responding to a medical call for help in the Town of Danville. Hendricks Regional Hospital staff relayed to officers that Deputy McKee’s efforts on this date were instrumental in saving this woman’s life and that without his actions, she would not have survived. Deputy McKee stayed calm under pressure, provided life-saving measures, and helped ensure this Hendricks County woman had a second chance at life.
