The Alpha Iota Chapter at Centenary College hosted its largest gathering in chapter history during the College’s Bicentennial Homecoming. More than 125 alumni attended, including brothers from France, Ireland, and England. Nearly 40 percent of alumni from 1975 forward were present, along with past Roses, Belles, and friends of the chapter.

The weekend included a formal KA and Friends event at the S’ports Downtown Petroleum Club, where alumni launched the new 1891 Club to encourage recurring contributions supporting the alumni-managed housing corporation and future capital needs.

On Saturday, the chapter hosted an open house featuring a Louisiana seafood boil, a second line band, and SEC football. Centenary College’s President, Chief Financial Officer, Dean of Student Life, and several members of the Board of Trustees attended with their spouses.

“The Alpha Iota team set a new standard for Homecoming events,” said alumnus Keith Considine ’93. “Our actives, led by Will [Riley ’24] and Henry [Pudwill ’23], did an outstanding job. Alumni and guests were impressed by the first-class nature of everything they organized.”

Considine added that the weekend provided valuable opportunities to reconnect and update alumni contact information, which will support future chapter communication and engagement.
