Presbyterian Alumnus Returns to Engage Fellow Alumni

Jeff Smith headshotPresbyterian College recently hired Jeff A. Smith (Beta Pi–Presbyterian ’90) as their new Alumni Engagement Coordinator.

Jeff previously served in the college’s Office of Advancement as a major gifts officer during the mid-2000s and is returning to his alma mater after a career in insurance and real estate.

Maintaining a home in Clinton during his stint in Virginia made the return to South Carolina easy as his wife Kim is also a Presbyterian College alumna. Their daughter, Mary Grace, is a recent graduate and works in admissions, and their son, Holt is a freshman.

“I look forward to getting out into different communities and really bring PC front and center to our alums,” Smith said.

As an undergraduate, Jeff played for the Men’s Soccer Team and participated in Student Volunteer Services and student government. He has served as Alumnus Advisor to the Beta Pi chapter and on the college’s Parents Council. In 2004, Jeff was inducted into the Frampton Court of Honor.
