SFA and UT-Arlington Brothers Receive Knight Commander’s Accolade

Dan McAfee, Former Knight Commander Duncan, and Dwain Knight

Dwain P. Knight (Delta Kappa–Stephen F. Austin State ’04) and Dan K. McAfee (Delta Iota–Texas-Arlington ’84) were conferred the Knight Commander’s Accolade by Knight Commander King V. Aiken, Jr. on Saturday, February 24, 2024, during the Duncan Province Court of Honor at the Royal Oaks Country Club in Dallas, Texas.

In more than fifty-five years, seventeen Knight Commanders have conferred this recognition on just two hundred and fifty-five brothers. For comparison, during that same time period, 124,000 brothers have been initiated. Indeed, the Knight Commander’s Accolade is the highest individual honor an alumnus can receive.

Unable to attend, Former Knight Commander J. Michael Duncan presented on Knight Commander Aiken’s behalf.
